It’s pretty incredible how much Edmonton has to offer! I put together this list of the best local tourist attractions you need to visit, most of them are new or have been recently renovated. So it may be worth a visit even if you’ve been here for decades:

🦣Royal Alberta Museum – The relocated Alberta Museum is now located in Downtown Edmonton and opened in 2018. It is now the largest Museum in Western Canada and features several rotating exhibitions. The new children’s pavilion is colourful and engaging to kids you and old! It’s mission is “to share Alberta’s remarkable stories in meaningful ways” and is a wonderful place to visit and revisit.

đź–Ľ Alberta Art Gallery: Honestly, one go the most beautiful buildings in Edmonton, the Gallery tore down their old building and built this new one on the same site. It opened in 2010. Randall Stout (1958 – 2014), the architect of this building was inspired by the northern lights. The beauty continues when you walk inside the building. They feature many programs for young children and beautiful touring exhibits, it is a true destination for the community and tourist alike. They even have Tours for Tots every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

đź” TELUS World of Science: Another family friendly place to visit is in Edmonton which has seen numerous upgrades over the past few years, including many immersive play areas for kids. A new addition is currently under construction and promises more fun for everyone.

🌴Muttart Conservatory – the gorgeous pyramids house over 700 species of plants in 3 climate-regulated biomes – arid, temperate and tropical. The fourth biome, displays feature exhibits through out the year.

đźš‚ Fort Edmonton Finally Fort Edmonton Park has a more complete and inclusive experience with a fantastic indigenous exhibit at the park.

I work with buyers and sellers in all over Edmonton, I focus in Central Edmonton because I love mature neighbourhoods and character homes! I am a retired nurse who started my real estate business in 2005 and I’ve served hundreds of families to date. The best praise I’ve ever received from a client was: that I am “well informed and understanding”. Helping people to realize their real estate goals and to start a new chapter in their lives, makes me so proud and drives everything I do! If you’re looking for a Realtor® who is understanding and can patiently guide you through the process, I’d love to work with you, too!
